Interview on Music and the Brain
I choose to do Music and our Brains and picked my suit mate Cossette to interview. Cossette is part of the choir and has been singing for several years now. She has always been interested in music and has been singing most of her life so I thought she would be the perfect person to interview; plus she is conveniently located right on the other side of our bathroom. She gladly accepted and this is how our conversation went.
We are both a little awkward in the beginning, but I think we warmed up to the camera a little after a while.  I mean after all, it is weird getting film by some one and filming yourself.  I really tried to ask good questions about music and how she thought it affected her brain.  For me personally, music tends to help me study and block out all the other noise.  I really do my homework better when I am listening to my favorite songs.
The main point of this was to see how music affects the brain and to get the point of view of someone who has been singing and involved in music for most of their lives.  I really enjoyed getting to know what Cossette thought of the topic and how her musical background affected here thinking.  So of her answers were things I would have never thought of.  Overall, I think music usually has a positive affect on the brain and I now have a higher understanding of how other people see and hear music.
I think you guys did a great job! There were so many points and it definitely gave me a lot of insight on the topic. I have to agree with you guys that different genres make you react differently and on a deeper note. Overall this was very well done!
